As we are reading through the book of Hebrews we have arrived at the Temple in chapter 9. Palm Sunday also arrived just in time because that is where Jesus went first as He triumphantly entered through the gates of Jerusalem.

Was He really the King they wanted? Was He the Great High Priest they needed? What kind of Rabbi tosses tables and sets lose sacrifices?

It is easy to say in general, “Christ died to save sinners”. It is a dry fact. It isn’t personal. It isn’t hard to identify sinners but often more difficult to identify how our sin is right inline with those we judge.

If you put into a Survivor Reality Show a cast of Barabbas, Judas, the Angry Thief, Peter and the Repentful Thief and yourself, who would you be wanting voted off first? Or should the person voted of be you?

Are your sins any different? Perhaps we know their stories woven into the Jesus’ Crucifixion because we are to realize… that this is personal.
